VLan Network Based Voice Logger

VLan voice loggers are digital recorders that record from analog sources such as telephone line, microphone and radio. They provide great flexibility and convenience by taking advantage of today’s vast network infrastructure. Targeted at small- to large-scale applications, these loggers offer superior performance at unmatched prices.

Small- to Medium-Scale Models

VLan-100SD
Single channel with internal flash memory and USB support. This logger does not require a host computer to record, as data is stored locally. User operation and system management can be done from any networked computer via browser based interface. Since data is stored locally with each logger, this model is better suited for applications where data needs to be separately managed for each logger.

VLan-100/VLan-400
One channel (VLan-100) or four channels (VLan-400) per unit without internal memory. These loggers send data over the network to the host computer in real time. User operations (search, play...) and system management are done on the host computer with a Windows program. Since data is centrally stored on the host computer, these models are easily expandable and more suitable for centralized data management.

Large-Scale Model

VLan-164
This is a scalable rack-mount system with 16 card slots per chassis. Each slot accommodates a 4-channel logger card which is functionally similar to the VLan-400 except that all cards share the same network connection with a single IP address. When fully populated a VLan-164 chassis provides 64 channels of simultaneous voice logging. Up to 4 chassis can be stacked together for a maximum capacity of 256 channels served by a single host computer. There is no internal memory, so the data is sent in real time over the network to the host computer where user operations (search, play...) and system management are done.
