VP-4LV & VP-8LV Voice Communication Board
Built with cutting edge DSP technology, the VP-4LV and the VP-8LV voice
communication boards are designed to meet the requirements of today’s most demanding CT (computer telephony) applications. The powerful yet versatile hardware design, coupled with extensive software development support, is an
ideal platform upon which to build your small to medium sized CT systems.
Each VP-4LV provides four independent ports for interfacing with analog phone lines. The VP-8LV is exactly the same as the VP-4LV except that it
provides eight ports. Up to 10 boards can be installed in a single PCI bus chasis to build systems with up to 80 ports. Many DSP enhenced functions are supported, such as advanced call progress analysis, tone/pulse dialing,
DTMF and caller ID detection, and AGC (automatic gain control) voice recording in either ADPCM or WAV format.
The VP-4LV and the VP-8LV are both certified for the United States with both FCC part 15 class B, and FCC part
68 certification.

Software Development Support
For software development support, the board is bundled with V-Link32 SDK for Windows 2000/XP. An optional applications generator software, called Contax IVR, is also available. Contax IVR has the following features:
